Our tour offers a unique opportunity to witness the war history of Vietnam by exploring the underground Cu Chi Tunnels connected to the Ho Chi Minh Trails. You’ll have the chance to see the booby traps used during the war and explore the ex-US Army tank from the Vietnam War by touching it.
As you embark on a relaxing cruise on the Mekong River from My Tho to Ben Tre, you’ll have the opportunity to experience the traditional rowing boat in the water coconut canal. The picturesque scenery is a feast for the eyes and will leave you spellbound.
During the tour, you’ll have the privilege to indulge in fresh fruits, and coconut candy, giving you a taste of the local culture. Additionally, you’ll visit a floating fish farm, enjoy a fish massage, and have the chance to feed the fish. You’ll have great lunch.
IN THE MORNING:
Get picked-up at your accommodation, drive to Cu Chi – Ben Dinh Tunnels, and stop at a handicraft workshop for a break .
Watch a documentary film about the Vietnam War.

Discover many hidden lefts behind trap doors.
See huge bomb craters and the mere 10–13 feet thick level of upper soil.

Highlight of the afternoon is to take the rowing boat in the coconut river canal.

Cu Chi Tunnels
The Cu Chi Tunnels, located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, were an extensive network of underground tunnels that served as a critical strategic location during the Vietnam War. Constructed over several years, the tunnels spanned more than 250 kilometers and were made up of multiple layers, including living quarters, kitchens, meeting rooms, hospitals, and even schools. The tunnels were dug by hand, using rudimentary tools such as shovels, hoes, and picks, and the workers would remove the soil from the tunnels and conceal it in nearby fields to avoid detection.
Navigating through the Cu Chi Tunnels was a complex task, requiring specialized knowledge and training. The tunnels were narrow, with a height of only a few feet, and were often filled with traps and obstacles, such as spike pits and hidden doors. The Viet Cong soldiers were trained to move silently and quickly through the tunnels, using their knowledge of the terrain to avoid detection. Then, we will drive to My Tho.

Absolutely worth it Absolutely worth it Really immersive experience and one of the best ways to understand the history of the Cu Chi tunnels. The visit is a little fast, but you still get to hear a lot of stories and really feel the atmosphere of the place. The biggest highlight was our guide, Jack. He’s a teacher and historian, and his family history and own military experience made everything feel much more real and personal. The site can be busy, but our small group made the experience much better. Perfect for anyone curious about Vietnamese history and okay with a bit of walking and some very tight tunnels haha.

Best experience in Mekong Delta This has been my favourite tour from Ho Chi Minh City. The experience was truly amazing and you get all that's said. Kero was the best tour guide, so knowledgeable, dynamic and kind. He took very lovely pictures of us and gave enough time for each of the experiences. The only thing I could advise to the company it'd be to give more time on the boat ride beceuse it was the best part, truly lovely and calm, so I wish it lasted longer. Other than that, please don't miss out on this opportunity.

Recommend Kero ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing private Mekong Delta experience with Joy Journeys! We booked a private Mekong Delta tour with Joy Journeys for two families, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip to Vietnam. What we loved most was that it didn’t feel touristy at all. Instead of just following the typical tourist route, we had lots of little adventures, explored local places, saw how people really live, and experienced the Mekong in a much more authentic way.
